Our Youth Ministry begins with those small eager children who are ready to hear God's Word and be taught its meaning. Young minds are vessels to be filled with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and taught how to love and treat their fellow man. It is imperative that levels of teaching and training for our children be a centered goal of CCHM, Inc. and blessed with our very best instruction and guidance. Lessons start as soon as there is a child, or a teen ready to grab hold of those precious nuggets of wisdom and enlightenment from a teacher who is excited about sharing his or her message with them. Their young minds are like sieves, or spunges that just soak up every tid bit of information that comes their way. We start them off with knowing that Jesus is in their heart and that Jesus and God love them very much, A child will point to his or her heart and that is where Jesus is and then point up to God and keep their little arms raised saying some words of praise to Him - so if you teach here, what will those few simple words be that you will tell them?
The love of children and a desire to instruct them in God's ways with His teachings, stories, parables and examples of how to grow and live, are what we teach our children from the time they can talk and communicate. We seek two-way feedback with each child, as they are a special little life unto themselves, and we ask them what we have told them to see if they can repeat what they heard. This is nothing new, but it shows where our lowest level of commitment begins, speaking with and teaching every child.
