Greeters/Ushers: Outside Greeters welcome everyone who enters the sanctuary to worship, with smiling faces and enthusiasm for having them there in church.  It's a must that the greeters display happy and positive attitudes so newcomers and congregational members really feel welcomed.  Greeters should want to do this job, it takes a special dedicated person who loves people and shows it unconditionally with warmth and affection. Suggest the open-armed, "hand shake or hug" Crawford Smith-style of pleasing and cordial invitation.  Inside Greeters are the ushers who seat people, handout fliers, and give Church information packets to new visitors.

Community Outreach Leader: Is responsible for organizing special Men's Groups and Women's' Groups to go out into the local community and reach out to those people not having a church, and those who may or may not be seeking to know the Lord and have a personal relationship with Jesus.

3.  Field trips or retreats are also organized by the Community Outreach Leader, as are special concerts, or parties.

Youth Group Leaders and the Head of the Children's Ministry:  Are responsible for teaching the youth and children of the Church how to interpret Biblical Scripture; how to understand it and how it works in their lives,  They are to direct and guide the children and the youth in how to live as moral Christian people in our present community, schools, and society which is so humanistic and secure.  These folks are responsible for teaching the youth and the children how to pray and understand its necessity and value, and what it means to communicate directly with God; how to witness for Christ, understanding the gospel of Jesus Christ and what it means to be "saved," baptized and full of the Spirit of God.  These folks may also organize Church sport's teams, dance teams, drama/play teams, musical groups and other such areas of interest.

Pastors: Are NOT responsible for doing non-Christian weddings, funerals, or other such religious services.  Pastors are NOT responsible for monetarily aiding or contributing toward any individual's or family financial crisis arising and requiring an immediate need, i.e., bills to be paid to a creditor.  The Church does not get involved in such matters as it is seen as becoming an ongoing crutch for the individual or family.  However, there are some instances which do require financial need beyond the normal myriad of things which occur daily.  Such instances will be dealt with but also with the influence and approval of the Board of Overseers.

Pastors are responsible for overseeing every aspect of the physical Church's life and the peace, comfort and ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to his flock.  It is a Shepherd's duty and responsibility to be visible, and as available as is possible, to the flock for all of its needs, including many things that are most undesirable to many people, but expected of a Pastor of the Lord.

The Congregation should note and remember that all of the Church's positions play a vital part of our church, and that no one position is more important than another.  Everyone is worthy!!! Everyone chosen or selected for a position is dedicated to serving God to their best ability and know-how.

Unfortunately situations do arise.  Any complaint that goes before the Board of Overseers must be given in written form and hand signed along with possible solutions for any problems outlined.  It must be given, in person, to one of the members of the Board.  The matter will be addressed by the Board, a decision made, and the person who filed the complaint will be notified within two (2) days of the Board's decision. Any complaint that does not follow this process will not be considered.

Other Areas of Interest:

Altar:  All pre-service altar prayer in special altar room; please see web site or call church for such altar prayer requests.

Announcements:  Includes recognition of special occasions such as, senior's birthdays, long-term anniversaries, high school and college graduations, weddings, baptisms, christenings, and so forth. Please notify the Office Manager at least one week in advance.

Home Bible Study and/or Small Groups:  All Home Studies and Small Groups will be organized by trained lay leaders who wish to conduct such studies.  on various subjects of particular interest to all those attendees.  Everyone in the church will have the same  opportunity to study, learn and fellowship with however many variety of groups the Church may be fortunate to have conducted by lay minister families or individuals.  However, the Church does not sanction any youth meetings at the home of a single adult, unmarried individual.

Communion: all true believers in Jesus Christ are invited to partake in this holy sacrament of the Lord’s Supper; our pre-school and primary age groups will have a special lesson on the Lord’s Supper in their classrooms, where they will also an opportunity to participate.

Fellowship Fridays:  the last Friday morning of every month will consist of coffee, biscuits and fellowship mainly for all of the retired and senior citizens.

Prayer Chain: the women’s group will establish a telephone ministry in which both members and non-members will be informed of situations requiring special and immediate prayer.

Hospital Calls:  The Pastors will be responsible for this duty but within the parameters of their time and travel ability.  A special team of lay individuals may be assembled to lead this most important aspect of Church comfort and prayer.  Visiting members may certainly volunteer to help the Pastors in performing this duty and expectation of those needing His presence and prayer.

Tithing:  The first fruits should be given at the first part of every service.  Tithing is giving back to the Lord that which is already His, but with joy and happiness.  God only loans us everything we possess and it is our job to use it wisely, take care of it and give a ten percent portions back to Him during Tithing.  Any other amount of money given to the Church, apart from tithing is considered an offering of love to be used by the Church either as requested of the giver, or as the Church sees fit to be sued elsewhere in its ministry.
