Elements of Divine Healing

To receive Spiritual Medicine there are obvious preparation and essential steps one must go through to make those healings come about.  God has a plan for us so plan to be healed. Granted when Jesus healed a person, he placed His hand on them and claimed that they were healed and they were.  Jesus is not here today and so-called egotistical self-proclaimed healers are not Jesus either.  their sideshows are ludicrous and disturbing; they are an affront to God and when they meet Him face-to-face for their personal judgment, they will regret their travesty of fakery.

The following is part of a healing process that works very well for us simply because we focus on the right things that properly prepare us for healing.  Don't be duped into believing or thinking that a quick fix of anointing oil and hands on your body by the leadership of the church is going to totally do you.  Let's take a look at what is necessary to do upfront before one comes before those who will lay hands on you for healing.

The first thing is that one must be aware of the fact that we are already healed by Jesus shedding His blood on the cross. Why!  Because Scripture tells us so and Scripture doesn't lie, it's the infallible Word of God.  "Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrow, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted.  but He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:4-5 (NIV)  Not only we must be aware that He has already given us, paid the price for us, and provided a promise for us, of His assured healing, but he tells us to call it forth - we must command our bodies into a healing mode so repair can be made.  Why?  Because God says it will happen, it is part of His healing plan. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, but first we must properly prepare ourselves for God's healing process to occur, as we tell it to happen.  We call for things and conditions that don't presently exist, as though they already are and should be.  Yes, Lord, ". . .and calls things that are not as though they were." Romans 4:17 (NIV)

So, what do we do?  Where do we begin?  A good place to start would be by totally repenting of all of our sins, not just some of them, but ALL of them.  Then we must forgive ALL others, those who have hurt us and caused us mental and spiritual torment or misery by their behavior and words against us - in some cases, by what others have done directly and indirectly to us.  We must forgive them ALL. We must also come to God, to receive His promises, in love.  It is in love and in spirit that we truly worship God as He deserves, and thus, we must have a love for others that is surrounded by our repentance and our forgiveness.

We must pray together and acknowledge what are needs are, what is it we are seeking and we must tell God that we realize we have His healing already, but we need to make it visibly manifest in our personal and weak life.  We must thank God for His many blessings and all that He has already done for us. We must give Him praise, honor and glory as our Creator.  Having group prayer at this time is also most acceptable and if it can be in church, at the front altar, or off to the side in relative quiet.  Confessing one's sins openly to the Lord and having intercessory prayer it most suitable at this stage of healing preparation.  ". . .confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."  James 5:16 (NIV) This would be the proper time to ask the elders, or leaders of the church to come and pray, anoint with oil and lay hands.  ". . .call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well."  James 5:14-15 (NIV)

During this healing process, one might and most probably will become aware of the speaking in tongues. This is a heavenly language between God and the person communicating with Him. It is ushered forth from a person's mouth that has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, by the Holy Spirit, who is interceding for the person speaking in his or her heavenly language.  This speaking or talking in tongues is for the benefit of the person seeking healing.  Such is not strange or weird, perhaps to one who hasn't a clue about what is happening to begin with (and should have been briefed ahead of time so he or she would understand what may transpire during the healing) but this use of communication is sanctioned by God and actually delivered through the power of the Holy Spirit moving our heavenly words along to the Lord.  Before many people understand the speaking in tongues and can accept its purpose and usage, some period of time may be required to produce a full understanding of such heavenly power - our heavenly language is a level above our normal level of speaking, and is probably beyond our own comprehension when we are speaking in tongues. Scripture dictates that we must have an interpreter present when someone is speaking in tongues.

Before many anointed healings one should also prepare by meditating on God's Word and bringing your understanding of His Word closer to your heart.  When we worship God, and being healed is a form of worship, as we honor God and thank God for the healing we have already received, yet we show Him that we know what to do to heal "ourselves" through our own discernment and understanding of His Scriptural food.  "This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."  Proverbs 3:8 (NIV) Part then, is our confessing aloud our own vocal affirmations: instructing our body to heal itself as is already promised by God; to dispel any presence of Satan and his demons from our midst, who relish making us sick and suffer.  One must command Satan to leave by pronouncing and claiming victory for his healing by sending him and his cohorts on their way.  We are given the authority and power of God to do this.  ". . .in my name they (you) will drive out demons. . .and speak in new tongues. . .and they will get well."  Mark 16:17-18 (NIV) "Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent (around you)."  James 1:25 (NIV)  God has granted each of us the power to compel Satan our of our midst.  One should do this commanding Satan to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already paid the price of our healing - Satan has no part with us any longer.

Commanding into being that which is not as though it were and now is must be done.  Let God and your body know what it needs to heal itself.  God, we believe, will guide this process.  It is essential that you claim, right up front in your healing, that you fully trust and believe that this healing will be a success.  There cannot be any doubts in your mind.  If you do still doubt, even a tiny bit, what you are saying is that Jesus Christ's payment in blood, was not enough!  You either believe one hundred percent in getting your healing, that you will receive total healing, or you don't.  If you don't trust in the healing to be successful, you degrade the power, the word, and promise God has already provided to you for success.  You must have complete FAITH, TRUST and BELIEF.  When this combination of three is achieved, then you KNOW!  When you KNOW you will be healed, there is nothing standing in your way - the mental and spiritual road blocks are gone and your mind is clean and open to being healed, and so it shall be!  If you don't just fully know, you will not experience a healing from God, so don't trick yourself into thinking you are getting something miraculous when, in fact, you don't fully have the faith, trust and belief to know.

There are also some other elements of accepting and asking for healing.  In your preparation for a healing, you may certainly want to consider the following: be sure you have been showing obedience to Divine instructions written in Scripture, or spoken to you by some person or in some manner that such permeates your whole being, and perhaps, that which is perceived as emanated directly from God in thought or by supernaturally feeling His touch.  Personal fasting is always a blessing in preparation and continued prayer, but don't do this to the extent that you become sick or weak from not eating and not receiving the proper nourishment for your body.  Believing and using Spiritual gifts from God.  Perhaps, participating and having full a understanding of Holy Communion, as a function of showing your trust in Christ's commands given to His apostles at the ceremony of the Last Supper - this is another open display of your faith and belief.  Lastly, believing and accepting God's daily blessings, special blessings, and profound miracles, as they may occur in your life.

This information is a shared overview of what Covenant Christian Healing Ministries, Inc. fully believes about healing.  However, we understand and you must understand before you receive healing that there are various types of healing, and the timing released in a healing, by the Lord, may be different in your life than that of another person.  Only God knows that and why.  Remember: His ways and thought are different from our ways and thoughts.  "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. . .so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."  Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)  And this is just one more insightful understanding of why we speak in tongues and have a heavenly language through which we can communicate with God.  This is another reason why we need the power and intercession of that supernatural entity that dwells within us, the Holy Spirit.

Your healing may be immediate, or it may be gradual and demand that you continue the healing process of prayer, calling forth the proper affirmations like dispelling any evil spirits around you and telling your body that it must repair itself without hesitation.  For example:  I have on and off sciatic nerve damage and neuropathy which causes periodic pain.  While my body is healing itself, which has been a gradual process, I can command the pain to go away and within about ten to fifteen seconds the pain has stopped!  My original level of pain, that was about a 14 or 15 on a top end scale of 10, could have and has caused a person to commit suicide, especially when the pain never ever ever lets up.  Over a period of many months, using my prayer, some fasting days, saying my affirmations and dispelling Satan from my presence, and so forth, I have almost fully conquered the disability that I once suffered with.  Now my level of pain is usually a one or two, or maybe even there is no pain at all.  Bottom line is that the healing process works, and it works because I KNOW that it is going to work - no "ifs' "ands" or "buts," about it.  It works, so trust God and accept the price Christ has already paid for your healing.

The last healing is that of a sudden miracle.  Some people believe their healing is coming all at once and they are very dissatisfied with the Lord.  In fact, they are very angry and may even let Him know.  This is because they expected the wrong kind of healing.  Remember: His ways and thought are different from ours.  I like to say that, "Grace and Mercy are God's gifts, not His burdens."  Thinking as such keeps my feet on level ground; therefore, I am not floating around in the atmosphere six inches off the pavement.  Sudden and miraculous healings do occur, they always have, and there are some individuals who walk so closely to God, living in His shelter, experiencing His multiple blessings, that they are able to produce such healings.

Yet, we guarantee you that anyone walking across a stage, stopping and being whacked on the forehead and falling over, has not been healed.  They have been duped as such, tricked because they believed so badly in receiving a needed healing that they themselves rose to the call, but it was only momentary and so shortlived afterwards.  Don't fall for the quackery that exists. It is repulsive to God and He abhors the deception and the false cures that are promised in His name. You will know the real deal when you encounter it and when you have prepared yourself for a healing; besides, you will learn how to promote your own healing by doing what you have been instructed to do in Scripture and with the trusted guidance and love of your learned church leadership.  However, if that group of leaders in your church doesn't follow this tight set of standards and applications, then beware.  Yes, something will be missing and you will not receive the healing that you are truly desiring and trusting to have by placing your faith in the wrong persons.

We, at CCHM, Inc., encourage you to contact us for training, teaching, instruction and or prayer to find solutions that work for you.  Remember: we are all different and we have different needs, so one must be aware of what we really need to ask for and how we properly prepare for a healing, and how we go about it.  God wants you to be well.  It is not Him who makes you sick, and causes the various catastrophes you encounter in life.  Afflictions, heart attacks, cancer, blindness, and the list goes on.  Satan causes pain, suffering and illness - not God.  If you think so, please show us in the Bible where it says that - please!  That's right!  You will not find it, you will only find the love that God has for you, and the promises He extends to you and the precepts and commandments He provides to live your life well and in obedience to His wishes.  Use your God-given free will to explore these truths and find out for yourself that what we claim is solid rock truth, and it comes from the Work of our Most Holy God Jehovah.

Please being your path towards seeking a complete mending.  get you body, your mind and your spirit back in good normal running order.  Go seek God!  I like to say that, "Although He leads me besides still waters, it's my job to keep them calm."  It is your job, too.  The Lord is reaching out to you and calling your to fix yourself if you're ailing.  The ball is now in your ballpark.
Reaching out to one and to all, in Christian love and compassion.
"Come and let us worship the Lord together.  Let us seek His blessings and His Divine healing.  Let us praise Him and give Him glory.  Welcome into our place of worship."

Partnering With God
When Healing Your Whole Person

Beginning the Process of Healing, Cleansing and Renewal

Remember the Purpose, follow the Process, stick to the Plan, powerfully Pray. The four points you should commit to memory because when we begin to do the healing process, it is vital that you don’t forget the purpose for doing what you are doing. That you continue to follow the process as you introduce the healing process to others.  That your plan will also become the same plan for others when you assist them in fulfilling the healing plan. And lastly, that to constantly pray with power in your thoughts, complete understanding  in your meaning for asking God what you will, and your commitment to what you as request must be unquestionably sound and truthful.

Does this sound complicated to you?  Well, it may and I would not be amazed if you didn’t.  Anything like this healing process is not only worthwhile but it is involved and takes time.  You are not expected to learn about it in a flash of godly unfolding.  However, you will be expected to digest this healing process, step-by-step.  Everything we will do, either you and I, or you and someone else, should be one powerful gaining at a time.  Does this sound easier to you?  Good!

The healing process is as encumbering or as simple as to make it to be.  It is up to you.  Pay attention and concentrate on what is expected and what you need to do.  This healing process is for you and not for someone else, that is, unless you are in a small group of equally yoked persons who have a knowledge, at your level, of what will transpire next.  Are you ready to begin your partnership with God, your co-healer?  Good again, so let’s do it!

What to Expect:

There are “twelve steps,” or areas of personal movement within the process that you must be prepared to do; they are listed below in the order in which they should be presented and administered. They are:

1.   Be ready to Pray!
2.   Be ready to Fast!
3.   Be ready to Confess and Repent!
4.   Be ready to Forgive!
5.   Be ready to have Faith!
6.   Be ready to Believe!
7.   Be ready to Trust!
8.   Be ready to be Blessed!
9.   Be ready to Know!
10. Be ready to be Healed!
11. Be ready to be Cleansed!
12. Be ready to get Prepared!

What is the Purpose and Process About?

About Purpose: When a person is committed to becoming a Christian disciple and dedicated to spreading the Word of God, this person must be ready and prepared to talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ with accuracy and knowledge.

How does one become equipped with such wisdom: the facts and truth about Scripture?  This is done through self-study and focused learning coming from blessed teachers whose skills are directed by the Holy Spirit.

This is all well and good, but how about YOU?  Do you truly want to become a Christian disciple whose Purpose is willing to share the Good News of Christ where and whenever possible?  If your answer is “yes” then let’s proceed from Purpose to Process.

About Process:  When a couple decides to get married, they plan and prepare for that special day.  They get dressed up in their best formal clothing and approach the altar with an assured readiness to get married.  They do not show up to the church in old dirty clothing, unwashed and smelling.  They have bathed. When you prepare for surgery, you are antiseptically clean without any possibility of germs existing to cause infection.  You have gone into surgery prepared.

When Moses encountered God, the Lord told Moses to kick off his sandals because he was on hallowed ground.  Moses was not ready to meet God.  And, so it is with ourselves when we want to do God’s work, he must prepare. Thus, we suggest a process by which one can become cleansed, perhaps healed, but ultimately prepared to do Christ’s work with those who badly need Him.

The Process:  This is the plan how everything comes together for the greater good and purposes of the Lord.  We begin with a one or two day fast coupled together with prayer.  Pray in a silent and private place without distraction.

While you are praying, begin to repent your sins and forgive all others who have harmed you in any way. After your fasting and prayer have been done, we ask you to come to the Church and go either up to the altar in the front of the Sanctuary, or enter privately into the Altar Room.  Kneel at the altar with your head bowed in reverence to the Lord.

One of the ministers/facilitators, called a Shepherd, directing your request to receive a cleansing (healing), will begin by asking you to silently repent your sins to God, all of them that you can remember.  Because you have approached the altar with an attitude of love and in complete faith in what God is now doing for you, you must profess that you have this faith, that you have complete trust and complete belief in this cleansing process.

A Shepherd will put their hands upon you and anoint you with oil.  You will be prayed over and asked for God’s blessings upon your future works for Him, for a hedge of protection, and for the Holy Spirit to assist you with your words and actions during this new ministry.

When you KNOW that you KNOW you are ready to do His work, and that your have fully received the healing or blessing you have sought, then, and only then, will you be fully equipped to go into your community and share the precious Word of the Lord with those sinners who are lost, or those hurting individuals who need God’s comfort and your guidance.

It is your job, your fulfilled Purpose to lead souls to the Lord, to show direction toward the gates of salvation, to save as many people who are ready and willing to come to God. Your job is to bring others into repentance, while confessing their sins, and asking forgiveness.  Salvation is theirs for free.  Purpose and Process is thus complete.
