Covenant Christian Healing Ministries, Inc. (CCHM) is presently a faith-based Christian ministry located in Mosheim, Tennessee. We are currently aligned with the local Assembly of God Church. Through the gracious invitation of openness and generosity of Pastor Bob Brown, of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, on 2445 West Andrew Johnson Highway, Greeneville, Tennessee, as guest pastors, Pastor Ben and Pastor Dahk, along with the Assembly's Pastor Bob, conduct Sunday evening services. These services have been on Eschatology followed by a series on Radical Fanatical Islam and it's terrorist Wahabbism and Shi'ite roots. Since July this series has been very successful. Lately Pastor Dahk has been ministering on Current Day Events and the Bible, and on several Books of the New Testament.
On Tuesday evenings, beginning very soon, will be an exciting evening of prayer, healing, cleansing, and preparation for a new discipleship ministry program. This is designed for all born again Christians and focused on community missionary work. Tri-fold handouts have been designed and will be available within the next two weeks for community delivery. Call the Church at (423) 639-5311 to check on their readiness. Ask for Flora or Louise. Monday evenings, from 6:00PM until about 7:30PM or 8:00PM, there is an evening of prayer and solemn and private worship with the Lord. Every First and third Saturday morning at 8:30AM is a Men's Ministry breakfast. This get together is not only for men of the Lighthouse but also for guests from other churches. Several other ministers oftentimes attend and interact with new and old friends in our Greeneville religious community.
CCHM is also responsible for our duties with "A Safe Harbor Home," Greeneville's local program for battered women involved in marrital and/or domestic violence. As the new Federal Grant becomes available for the program's major source of funding, CCHM staff will become increasingly more busy and active in the counseling of women and children who are experiencing problems within their home and family borders. "A Safe Harbor Home," which is owned and operated by Danny and Lilly Velez, offers a place of refuge, peace, safety and comfort for those seeking and partaking in their help. Pastor Dahk heads up the Christian Counseling for women and Pastor Ben is incharge of the Christian Children's counseling at A Safe Harbor Home.
CCHM has successfully operated its Christian Publishing arm, the tennessee Publishing House, and is presently active in the publishing (production and printing) of several Christian books. CCHM has also begun a highly usccessful imprint called Aaron Book Publishing, located in Bristol Tennessee and operated by Tim Rouse, CEO. Aaron Book Publishing is a separate entity that has already managed to accept close to a dozen new authors from its numerous manuscript submissions.
CCHM is also currently offering Christian Counseling to other Ministers and their spouses. Those clergy members who individuals or couples (recommended) experiencing marital difficulties, or simply needing counseling and/or advice on various family issues also produce a continuous flow of clientel. Dr. Knox is incharge of such Christian Counseling for ministers and/or their spouses.
CCHM has one constant prime focus in our stated Church Mission: to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone seeking a personal relationship with God our Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. This our Ministerial Mission. Although CCHM is non-demoninational, our roots are primarily Pentecostal and CCHM is both State and Federally Tax Exempt.
Our Ministerial Vision is: to find, heal and comfort the sick and suffering while leading all souls, in search of God, to salvation.
Our Ministerial Purpose is: to become involved as a proactive ministry in performing what our mission is all about, as a church body.
We have three Ministerial Objectives which are:
1. To define the person of Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit, in such a manner that Scripture comes alive in the hearts of those individuals truly wanting HIs love, peace and salvation.
2. Introduce God's written word, the Holy Bible, to those intently seeking His wisdom and knowledge through study, prayer, and practice.
3. Teach those suffering physical and mental sickness how to heal themselves by doing what Scripture instructs us to do.
